Alexa May

Alexa May began dancing at age five and quickly discovered her passion for performing. She has experience in all styles of dance. While training at Dance Industry Performing Arts Center in Plano, Texas, she performed as a member of the DI company team. As a competitive dancer, Alexa attended various conventions and competitions such as LA Dance Magic, West Coast Dance Explosion, Tremaine, New York City Dance Alliance, and many others. She has performed and won titles at national competitions in New York City and Las Vegas. Alexa danced on the Highland Belles drill team at Highland Park High School, where she served as a lieutenant her Senior year. After graduating high school in 2015, Alexa had the privilege to dance on the pom squad at Texas Christian University. As a TCU Showgirl, she danced at a variety of TCU Athletic events, engaged in community appearances across the DFW metroplex, and had multiple unique performance experiences. Some of her favorite memories as a TCU Showgirl include: being on ESPN College GameDay, performing at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, and dancing at venues such as AT&T Stadium, Arizona’s Chase Field, and Madison Square Garden. Alexa just recently graduated from TCU with a Bachelor’s degree in PR/Advertising and a minor in Business. Although Alexa is pursuing a career in Marketing, she continues to dance and is passionate about mentoring younger dancers to use and apply all the skills that dance teaches no matter where they strive to go in life.
