Rachel Bocci

Rachel Bocchi grew up in Washington State, where she trained at Metropolitan Ballet of Tacoma under the direction of Damaris Caughlan. In 2024, Rachel graduated from the University of Alabama with her Bachelor of Arts in both Dance and Advertising and is currently enrolled at Southern Methodist University earning her Master of Arts in NonProfit Leadership.  During her time in the University of Alabama Department of Theatre and Dance, Rachel performed in various works for Dance Alabama, Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre and The Alabama Film Festival. Post graduation, Rachel has performed professionally with Corpo Dance, Ballet Papillon and Avant Chamber Ballet. 

Rachel was blessed with the opportunity to bring dance education to underserved communities through The Dance Honor Society of Alabama, sparking her love of teaching dance. Since then, she has been a guest teacher for multiple summer programs in Texas, Colorado and Washington and has loved sharing her passion for dance with the next generation. She is so excited to join the Preston Center Dance Faculty!
