Shuan Davis

Shuan T. Williams Davis traces his roots back to East Orange, New Jersey, but found his rhythm in the bustling city of San Antonio, Texas. His dance journey began in the sanctuary of a church, where he first captivated audiences as part of the JAM children's ministry before transitioning to the GX Hip Hop Dance Crew as a youth.

The pivotal years of high school marked a significant chapter in Shuan's dance evolution. Immersed in the dynamic world of the color guard team, he honed his skills and cultivated a deep passion for performance, laying the groundwork for his future pursuits in dance.

Upon entering college, Shuan's passion for dance flourished even further as he delved into a diverse array of styles including jazz, modern, and ballet. His talent and dedication earned him a place in the esteemed Orchesis Dance Company and later the Merge Faculty Dance Company, where he thrived for two years. Notably, his exceptional contributions to dance at Texas State University garnered recognition from the University President.

Post-graduation, Shuan sought to expand his horizons and refine his craft, embarking on a journey to New York to participate in a prestigious modern dance summer intensive program led by Mark Morris. Subsequently, he found himself drawn to the vibrant dance scene of Dallas, where he collaborated with various renowned dance groups such as the Urban Dance Company, Bangerz, and Athena, gracing stages at prominent events like HYPE Dallas and DIFFA.
